Origin

"Moving Mountains" was created out of a need for training in ministry and pastoral prayer, with a solid biblical foundation. 

The course has been offered since 2013 – previously under the name: ‘Climbing Mountains; Moving Mountains’.

In 2022, the course was renewed. The book ‘Moving Mountains’ was released and is used to support the course.

The training is suitable for both beginners and more experienced prayer ministers.

We start with the basics and explain step-by-step the spiritual principles of deliverence. When we train prayer teams from local churches or organizations, we discuss to adjust the the content of the course beforehand.

The course is not suitable for young believers and is only accessible to individuals affiliated with a church community. Because the course can stir up personal issues, we assume a certain level of spiritual stability. There is limited time during the course to address personal issues. However, prayer can be requested outside of the course, on a limited basis, through Crossing Point Ministry.

  3. Prayer ministry as a form of mental healthcare: Assistance; View of humanity, worldview, and care
  4. The spiritual The Holy Spirit; Testing; The gifts of the Holy Spirit 
  5. Power and authority: Power and authority; Legal and lawful basis
  6. Bondage Power over another? 
  7. Authority Binding and Loosing; Spheres of Authority; Our Authority and Power; Binding and Loosing in Practice; Idols and Territorial Powers
  8. What we cannot see: Goal, spirit, spirits, and heart; Injustice
  9. Blessings and curses The power of words; Blessing and curse; Generational blessing and generational curse; Breaking curses
  10. Two keys to freedom: Freedom through forgiveness; Becoming free from lies
  11. Free from the consequences of sins Free from sins; free from occult bondage
  12. The broken heart Free from inner wounding; Free from emotional attachment
  13. Physical healing: Praying for physical healing 

Practical information

An open training consists of 8 evenings of 2.5 hours each. Between sessions, participants are expected to read the corresponding chapters in the book. A training for a private group is tailored to the needs and therefore also the duration. It is possible to organize the training in English for international groups. A course in English is a possibility.

Investment

The investment for the course is €200 per person, including the book ‘Moving Mountains.’ Upon registration, we ask for €25. The remaining amount is payable on the first evening of the course.

If a local church provides more than five participants at once, an agreement can be made in advance regarding a price per person. We then assume that a chruch decides whicht people are suitable for this course and guarantees payment. If you are interested, please send a message in advance to hans@crossingpoint.nl.
